Compliance / Privacy
Your data,
handled clearly.
This page explains the information PlugOut Village uses to provide the app, its experiences and support services. It is written for the current product implementation and should be reviewed with final legal counsel before production launch.
What we use
- Account and contact details needed to authenticate you and communicate about your requests.
- Saved preferences, activity and support messages needed to operate Village features.
- Order, payment-status and fulfilment information needed to create, verify and track purchases.
PlugOut Express
PlugOut Express displays live menu information from its connected commerce catalogue. When you place an Express order, the Village API receives the selected product IDs, quantities, API-provided add-ons, contact details and fulfilment information. The server recalculates prices and stores an item snapshot for order history and support.
Payment details are handled by the selected payment provider, such as Paystack or Stripe. PlugOut Village receives provider references and payment status rather than storing card credentials. If a delivery provider is configured, the delivery address and required contact details may be shared with that provider to quote and fulfil delivery. Until then, Express delivery is unavailable; pickup remains subject to the configured business flow.
How we use information
We use information to provide requested services, authenticate accounts, prevent duplicate or invalid transactions, process payments, support orders, investigate issues, meet operational obligations and communicate important service updates.
Choices and requests
You can request access, correction or deletion through the account and support flows in the app. Deletion may not remove records that must be retained for payment, fraud prevention, safety, accounting or legal obligations. Contact hello@plugoutvillage.com for privacy questions.
